We just missed the cherry blossoms but had really wanted to see this site. I would save your money if the blossoms aren't out as the lake isn't big and you could walk around the top to see the same views. Staff were nice. Wrap...More

C is of course impressive in the spring, but it is also lovely in the summer and fall. The restrooms are clean and you can rent a paddle boat and discover the moat. Fun.

I was stunned to see the beautiful cherry blossom scenery. I was lucky to visit the popular spot when the cherry was in full bloom. Chidorigafuchi can be assessed by several subway lines. During peak sakura season, the street and walkway there were packed with...More

One of the best spots to take great pictures of the sakura in Tokyo hands down. Be early so you don’t have to wait too long.

Chidorigafuchi is most famous place for Sakura. When you will visit on weekend you can't move smoothly on your food. Japanese likes short-lived flower of Sakura. Best scean are only one week for Sakura.

I usually enjoy walking in the rain and taking a stroll through the parks with alight sprinkle However, this park seemed kind of gloomy and gray. Perhaps it was time of the year or maybe the design was just a bit barren. It is bigger...More

I strongly recommend that you must visit to the place Chidorigafuchi(千鳥之淵) during the sakura blooming season, not only view the blossom by day but also at night 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, show you dramatically illuminated cherry blossoms.

Go during Late March and Early April when the Sakura are in full Bloom, worth it then. Otherwise it is a very nice relaxing place to walk and enjoy the greenery.

It's a huge park! We were lucky enough to see heaps of cherry blossom trees in full bloom. There are boats you can hire and look at the trees from the water. It was really busy when we went but because of the size of...More

The significance of this place is for Cherry Blossom viewing. Rest of the time it is a tree lined water bay bank. We walked to it from the Imperial Garden. But it was not the Sakura season

Nearby
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around
the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in
Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a
photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old
Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this
day, and there are long-standing restaurants with
geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.

No; it is a short walk from the subway station and is basically a walkway along the moat of the Imperial Palace. There is a boat ride you can do which I believe will cost you something. I don't know what the fee was as we... More
