Great venue for a rock show

Saw the Stone Roses here and even the second floor seats provided good views. The historical significance of the venue speaks for itself...nice comfortable arena-size venue

I went to Mayday concert at Nippon Budokan, and got there early in the morning to ensure I can buy all the limited products I want. The place is safe with security guard patrolling. There is a place with many vendor machines offering different hot and cold drinks, but not enough toilets.

The world kendo championships were held here and I've heard the likes of Eric Clapton in concert. Check out Kitanomaru Park where Budokan is located, a beautiful area.

We were there to see Queen+Adam Lambert. The sightlines and acoustics are excellent, even from the last row of the top tier where we were sitting. Great venue and you can practically feel the weight of all the legendary concerts that have happened there before. The audience was really into it, too, which made it fun. The only drawback inside... There's a park nearby so maybe after walking to it you can rest there, plus the Science museum is also close.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers totally lagged here, but Seikima II and Perfume were both on top of their game.

The Budokhan is located in a historic area surrounded by a large garden, easily accessible by Tokyo metro, concert started at 5 we hoped to get drinks and snacks outside before the concert but few options, once inside the venue only machines. We had seats almost in the back but the view was still quite ok, probably not a bad... More

Returning to the ledgendary Nippon Budokan to seek out the ghosts of great stars who had preformed there, we were a little disappointed that there was no exhibit of the greats prefermances this place had delivered. The building was there and the park in which it lays, but that was it. This could easily be an idea for an expanded,... More

流石は、日本武道館。歴史を感じる造りです。 ライブ会場としては程よい広さ。 とても良い雰囲気でした。 土地勘の無い人はタクシーがお勧めです。 As expected, the Nippon Budokan. It is made to feel the history. Reasonable size is as a live venue. It was a very good atmosphere. People without a land intuition taxi is recommended.

This Hall is actually not only for Japanese judo only, but well known as a place for concerts and other events. In November, Japan Self Defense Forces Marching Festivals are held here. It's hard for tourists to go to this marching festival, for you need to make an application to see the festival. Well, you may have a chance to... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
