The whole family had a great time here. From breakfast sashimi bowls, to snacks to dessert. This was our favorite market compared to Nishiki (Kyoto) and Kumoron(Osaka). Easier to zigzag around too rather than long strip of market like the others. Cash only mostly. Crowded...More

The Tsukiji Fish Market is a delight for the senses. Although I visited after peak Market hours (7-11am), fresh fish was available for purchase or consumption on the spot. Japanese fruit that look like they're on steroids (but aren't), tea shops, freshly made tamago. Very...More

The outer market of the famous fish market is a special experience. Fresh cooked seafood, fresh sushi and lots of other local delicacies. If you are able to see the fish auction house and the wholesale market even better.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
