Beautiful Ocean Views

This bridge is best viewed on the odaiba side of Tokyo. Along with the Bridge there are great views of Tokyo. Catch the water bus from Asakusa to Odaiba for a fun day

The Tokyo Gate bridge across part of Tokyo bay is a modern awkward sort of structure. It has a ungainly looking mid span with a clearance of over fifty metres from the sea below so as to permit large ships to pass below it. The bridge is not pretty or classical and therefore not much of a tourist attraction but... More

My wife and I visited the bridge today and were a bit underwhelmed. The bridge itself is quite impressive but the area surrounding it is very industrial. The most prominent landmark you can see from the bridge is a garbage processing facility :( We went on an overcast day sadly and I imagine it would have been better with the... More

Also known as the dinosaur bridge, the Tokyo gate bridge on tokyo bay is a cantilever bridge which connects artificial islands of Wakasu and Chubo along the highway in the region. The bridge is located close to the Haneda airport and allows large ships to pass underneath. The best time to visit is during the evening hours when the bridge... More

Just a bridge in the Tokyo bay area, which looks interesting when seen from a distance due to the architecture, but otherwise nothing special. Not as big or prominent as Rainbow Bridge and easily missed if you don't look for it when up high in Odaiba or a tower with views elsewhere in the city.

This is just a bridge. It's as simple as that. Yes, it has a unique architecture, but still - at the tend of the day - it's just a bridge, and certainly not a tourist attraction.

Bridges connecting to various beach reclamation that is around, including to Wakasu. Forms a long bridge is also quite unique, in addition to large ships pass by underneath.

The bridge looks amazing especially since it is in the outskirts of Tokyo. By which I mean on the side of Tokyo which is ocean. There's not much here but some tiny islands which are connected by tunnels and this bridge. The road leads straight to Haneda Airport so it's quite convenient. The bridge itself looks amazing, thought not as... More

Its possible to access this bridge through walking or by driving. If you access this area through public means then you can walk across and see a great view of the city in the distance. Also there is a nice park on one side of the bridge. But if you have the opportunity to drive across, then do it at... More
