Good quiet accommodation hotel, when only a good bed and sleep is needed, and some food. It has a pretty Japanese garden with water features. It needs a special invitation from an accepted institution( eg embassy, University) for a business or science meeting. It has...More

International House of Japan is really not a tourist attraction. Instead, it is a programmatic center for international understanding that also offers accommodations and two restaurants. I-House, as it is almost universally known in Tokyo, is a crossroads for scholars, government officials and artists of...More

International House is an oasis in the heart of Tokyo. Located in a quiet neighborhood, its closest Metro station is Azabu-juban. The hotel has what I think of as classic modern Japanese style, spare but comfortable. The large windows in the entry are, the two...More

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art
