Definitely take the time to visit if possible! Reminds me like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The views provided are decent.

Another observatory tower for people interested in Tokyos skyline. Pay by credit card accepted. Is an telecom tower. Upper deck is closed now for renovation. Likely to be opened in 2017.

This is the original tower, the newer one is the Tokyo Skytree. But I recommend going to this one as well, resemble the Eiffel tower. Great view from the top and you can ride the elevator to go up. A must!

Tokyo Tower is a beautiful part of the city and worth a visit. My girlfriend and I planned to see it from helicopter but due to an error on my part scheduling it didn't work out. We used Japan Flight Adventures - their representative Michelle was lovely about the whole thing and did everything she could to get us on... More

Tokyo Tower offers sensational views across the city and can offer a moment of calm in an otherwise busy environment. The tower has a glass floor section allowing visitors a bird's eye view of the city.

The Tokyo Tower offers up a stunning 360° view of Tokyo from above. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself within the area. Note that they do charge a fee to go up to the top of the tower.

A good evening visit, illuminated tower looks very good. Close to subway, you can't get lost just look up to see the tower. Reasonable price to first observation platform with great views of city skyline. There is a gift shop and when we visited a very good jazz group

Tokyo Tower looks great from the distance, particularly at night. The small aquarium underground is a great retreat, and there’s events that happen regularly.

A bit higher that Eiffel Tower in Paris, Tokyo Tower is supposed to give the panoramic view of the city. It does that, but unfortunately when compared to SkyTree, it doesn't stand a chance. Moreoover, relative expensive with long queues.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
