It was like getting to see little New York here. Huge shopping mall and there were a lot of spots to sit and chill

We got to Odaiba at around 9:45 AM, and things don't open until 10 AM. The free shuttle that circles it doesn't start until 11:30 AM. We started at Toyota Mega Web because my 10 year old wanted to drive the cars, however because it...More

There are a number of connecting shopping malls and hence swamps of tourists. Came here only to get a few gadgets available only at the outlet here. If you are not a general shopper, skip it.

Odaiba, a man-made island, has lovely views of Tokyo Bay, the rainbow bridge, and the capital city. You can talk a nice stroll through the island taking in the sites and sounds, or take advantage of the island's popular shopping area.

We pretty much only went to see the giant gundam outside one of the shopping centres, but ended up staying longer to see some of the shops, go to the arcade and see the mini statue of liberty in front of the rainbow bridge.

Even the train ride with the skytrain is worth a visit. From there you overlook the skyline. On Odaiba itself are many hotels and shopping malls. We recommend to have a look at the Gundam statue and show.

Although not the highlight of our trip to Japan, it was certainly a picturesque site on the bay with the rainbow bridge as a backdrop. Statue is much smaller that the one in the harbor in New York City, but still majestic. It is surrounded...More

Not a must visit area of Tokyo, but a good area to check it out if you have a few extra days in your itinerary. Odaiba is not that big and the main areas can be walkable. There is nothing really special or outstanding out...More

very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has
ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find

We caught the train and then changed to the monorail; if you have a map of the train lines it’s quite easy to find.
