Nice, modern airport; amongst others, we got off the monorail at the wrong station, but the free shuttle bus was fine. Just allow a bit extra time, just in case!

Spacious, less frenetic, clean, convenient to Tokyo...just a 400 year sixteen minute ride--saving the start of the JR Rail pass for the ride.

I'd rather use Haneda over Narita. Manageable sized, newer, cleaner, better refresh room. Closer to center of Tokyo.

Great airport- go to the outside observatory for the views, and the upstairs food hall area for views of Mt Fuji on a good day. Great shops and food choices.

Located between Tokyo and Kawasaki. Tons of bus's and has Keikyu Railway and the Tokyo Monorail to get you to your final destination. Has 3 terminals. Each terminal has a place for people who like to see the planes land and take off.

Haneda / Kamata
Haneda / Kamata is known for its airport with many
hotels popping up with the increase in international

and temples with ancient origins including Anamori
Inari Shrine or Ikegami Honmonji temple which is
visited by more than 300,000 people in October's
Buddhist Oeshiki festival. The area around Kamata
station is lined with restaurants and is lively until

Agree that the limousine bus from Haneda Airport to Shinjuku Washington Hotel is the best option, especially if travelling with luggage. Would also consider sending luggage from Yokohama to Haneda by courier/delivery service... More
