We went there on a winter night on foot from Asakusa via Asahi Beer Tower. It wasn't hard to find, we just sort of follow the crowd. It was quite busy and the queue was long to get up to the observation deck, and it...More

There are long lines to get inside the tower though you can pay extra and get in the fast lane which we did and was actually worth it. Inside the tower you can get a great view of the entire city and there are also...More

No denying this tower is impressive and I don't think you will get a higher vantage point in all of Tokyo. We went up just on dark. When we could get near the windows the view was stunning!! Getting that view though does prove a...More

Towering above Tokyo this huge tower offers spectacular views on a clear day. In the concourse there are lots of shops. This is a popular place to visit so can be quite crowded. There is a water playground for children on hot days.

There are plenty of lockers around Tokyo train stations and even Haneda airport. You are better off using one of these, they are safe and some big enough even for large luggages. You don't want to be lugging stuff around in... More

It's a good walk, about an hour and a half which isn't bad. Our hotel was 15 minutes walking distance from Ueno station and we just followed the signs for Asakasa as you pass senso-ji walking and you follow that one road... More
