We did not enter the building but merely just took photos of this wonderful building from the opposite. Who will reluctant to take a photo since Asahi is a beer brand from Japan with a unique architecture design.

This building sits on the Sumida River just across from Asakusa and if you are walking to the Sky Tree you cannot miss it. It has an unusual golden peanut shaped object on the roof which makes it different but apart from that the other buildings around are fairly standard for Tokyo

Not the most charming of nicknames from the locals but a catchy building nonetheless with its shiny golden facade.

We stopped here for a quiet beer after visiting the sky tree (an easy 10 min walk away). Up to level 22 for a couple of Asahi's overlooking Asakusa and beyond. Well worth doing at the end of a day touring.

We went twice - first as a tasting tour, then to have dinner and to retrieve the gloves I dropped the first time. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. I stopped in for a quick beer since it was near my hotel and was very pleasantly surprised at the incredible review of the Tokyo skyline. After my beer - I immediately went back to hotel to bring my wife and adult daughter back to watch the beautiful sunset on Mount Fuji and try a few more specialty brews. BTW:... More

It is an amazing piece of architecture and design. The light of the afternoon reflected in the building creates wonderful light art. The pictures taken are breath taking and beautiful. impressive.
