My 8yro son loved it here. It has a play area, lots of great specimens and bones to see, and a nice rooftop view! Would recommend for families with kids ages 6-14

We came as our 5 yo wanted to see dinosaurs. We were not disappointed, there were dinosaur fossils and heaps more. Highlight was the audio visual timeline display from prehistoric days to present day.

Great location, great contents. Perfect for kids and family. The most interesting attraction for us was the 360 degree theater.

Probably very good if you speak Japanese, but we found it very difficult to navigate and understand with limited English interpretation available. We probably should have rented the audio guide in hindsight. Trying to find the exhibits we were interested in was half the battle...More

Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit

grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping

I would send an email to the museum and see if they would work with you or have an answer. The museum was a great place to visit, and if you had a business meeting/party there you would all truly enjoy the experience.
