Great day at Mt Fuji. Our guide Toshi was amazing. A lot of time on the bus with no toilet so be organised with young children. Lake crossing, cable car and bullet train were great too.

Michelle, in my humble opinion you don't really need a private guide. It is easy to cover both on your own (maybe with "Lonely Planet Guide" ?). We did this as a daytrip from Osaka : caught shinkansen to Hiroshima, visit... More
