Quite a bit of fire road, but the single track is very enjoyable; smooth, fast and in great condition (May '17). Nothing too technical, which suits me-prefer Wong able to do a good ride without worrying about what could be round the next tree!14.5mile red...More

Rode the Red trail. It really is a very well laid out track with some great scenery and features. Unfortunately, there are some serious pot holes on the trail that impact the flow of the track. Just needs a little maintenance. Still well worth the...More

Very good trails, though limited if you are technical rider. Good for families, skills area now open which is good fun. Plenty of amenities in Newcastleton, limited amenities at the actual centre. Worth a visit.

Whilst staying in Newcastleton over the weekend we decided to have a go at riding our bikes on one of the cycle tracks (Blue Run). It was very hard but we enjoyed the experience, bit too old to try any harder runs.

As with all of the 7 stanes great route well signposted. Access well sign posted from Newcastleton. Free car parking in village along with public showers and toilets. A cafe at end would be great.

Recently changed the route head as the forest information centre and car park closed, so now routes all start in the village and go over the new(ish) bridge to the activity centre. Interesting routes with good mix of single track sections.
