What an odd and fantastic place. Where else could you go way down into a mine and row a boat, play table tennis, pool, go on a ferris wheel or go bowling? Totally cray and totally worth a visit. Don't be afraid to beat the queues back up and take the stairs, they aren't as bad as they sound. Had... More

Just go there to be surprised. Beautiful place. It seems not realistic inside, like in a film of other planets.Charming place with a good history.

There is nothing really special about place. Its history was interesting, if only they have widely visible visuals talking about how it got to be. I really think the place (now - I dont know if it was the same before) or its management is more concerned about the profits they make on a daily basis. We went there on... More

One of the most interesting salt mines in Romania. Impressive spaces, nice views, easy access. In order to save some time, don't wait for the elevator to go down, use the stairs. The view from the lake to higher level is wow. Don't miss the little balcony before to start going down, from that point you can see the 110... More

Beautiful place. It seems not realistic inside, like in a film of other planets. Looking around, you cant imagine that all it is the salt. Romantic lake with the boats inside. There you can play tennis or bowling. Not sure of existence such other place anywhere. Its really fantastic & individual.

This is an enormous salt mine, not used anymore for mining but for recreation, imagine!! The main cave has been transported into a mini amusement park, with several kids rides, pool tables, table tennis and kind of a little park to chill at. I guess in case of a nuclear attack it would come very handy. It is nice to... More

Charming place with a good history. Kids friendly. Not expensive prices. In main chamber you will find place for fun for you and also for your kids. mini golf, bowling, tenis tables, gift shop, etc. Most important is what you can see around you. View is breathtaking. Great place for photo session!

If you are in the area it's a must to pass by, as it is an unique salt mine. The interior very nice design, made you feel as you are on the different world , something like a SF - movie.
