The market square has several nice restaurants that play live music at night and some tourist shops where you can buy local products. It has a very nice ambiance.

Maybe one of the few turistic places in Rio Branco, you can have some beers and typical food next to the river. Also, cross the bridge and walk arround the coast of the river.

This market was very interesting on the weekend and there were many shops to explore. It was much quieter during the week. It was fun to visit in the evening to enjoy a drink and the live music.

There are lots of art crafts here from local native people. It seems they have everything you need or you can simply walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.

The market had few stores open when we visited on Friday morning. I expected more options for local arts and crafts. There is a great store of medicinal products from the Amazon. That was the highlight

Want to relax after busy day? Renovated Mercado Velho is the place. I like how they renovated it - nice bright colors, plenty of places to get drinks and snacks.
