We decided to visit Port Sunlight as we have being going to Liverpool for 30 years and never visited. It's quite strange when you get off the train and start walking around the houses as it is so quiet. The architecture of the houses are remarkable and nearly all individual. William Lever who was just an amazing man started this... More

So enjoyed port sunlight and started at this museum which is absolutely packed with history and information. The film is a must and we watched it prior to walking round the village which gives you a feel about everything. Lovely staff learnt so much here.

This was our first visit to the Museum. Not very big, but very well laid out with a wealth of information. Very good film. Nice little cafe. Friendly helpful staff. We will definitely go back again.

Visited Port Sunlight today just as a detour on our way home - will be coming back in the summer with my kids. Such a pretty little place and the museum is fab - it's not very big but it's very informative. The staff are lovely and well- informed. Will be returning 😊

A very reasonable price to pay for lots of information and display boards. Do not skip by the video as it gives you lots of insight into the differences between male and female workers. I found it fascinating that the women had to leave work once they had got married. Lord Leverhulme was certainly a man ahead of the times... More

This is a very interesting museum, full of interesting information about the history of Port Sunlight and Lord Leverhulme. I liked the variety of exhibits, including some old artifacts. There are interactive things for children. This museum is well worth the modest entry fee.

Interesting, however I was slightly disappointed after the gallery, if you don't watch the video you would wondering why they charge so much for very little displays. All that said it does complete your day out.
