Great for a family day out

Lovely little farm in inner city melbourne. The only dissapointment was the cafe onsite which charged like wounded bulls for lunch. Service was slow and the meal was average

I love visiting Collingwood Children's Farm. It is such a peaceful place to roam. The Cafe is gorgeous and I love wandering through the flower and vegetable garden. The kids particularly love holding the guinea pigs and feeding the horses. We are so lucky to have a warm and such a lovely place to wander in the middle of inner... More

A mix of country and suburbia, an assortment of animals to interact with while you learn about them. Surprisingly, a number of children do not know where milk comes from, apart from the shelf in the supermarket. Milk a cow at the farm and educate at the same time.

We visit Collingwood Children's Farm when we feel like a more hands-on experience than the zoos. The entry price is reasonable and it's a relaxed atmosphere with lots of opportunities to teach my daughter about farms, food and where things come from. There's a cafe (lively food) where I usually grab a coffee on the way in. A few interactive... More

Used to take my daughter here. She loves the livestock kept at the farm. Only place for kids to get exposed to livestock outside a farm

A little piece of country life in the city. The farm is perfect for families, couples everyone. Loads to see and do. A fantastic Cafe which opens onto the farm or can be accessed from the path. There's a farmers market every month with wonderful fresh produce and food and coffee stalls. Parking is ample and it is right next... More

Great for young kids to explore.. Safe surroundings and great organic food options for adults, and a great selection of sandwiches for my fussy little eaters.. Will go again.

Collingwood Children's Farm is a good day out with small children. They can see a cow being milked, collect eggs from the chickens and see all the other farm animals and produce growing. The cafe there is lovely and very popular on weekends, especially when the monthly farmers market is held (second Saturday of each month). The scones with jam... More

This place is run by volunteers who din seem too happy. 😬 Cafe closes early. There are some goats, some big pigs, some sheep, some geese running around and some beautiful horses. Lots of flies and poop everywhere. Lots Pop over if you are nearby. Nothing much to see
