The sign-shaped panel close to the stairs will tell you that the crane was rebuilt in 1784 by prince Johann I of Schwarzenberg after destroying by high water. Inside you will find two twin connected step wheels. With the help of 15-25 men power this step wheels were moved. Today the crane is the landmark of Marktbreit.
