This is typical of a small town museum where a lot of money and care has gone into restoring an ancient building and mounting a display without a great deal to work with. There isn't a great deal to see. Strongly recommend watching the video....More

we were there toward the end of the day and I wish we had had more time. fascinating long history which made the town a major focus in the vicinity.!

Very interesting visit all about the salt, you can have a guided visit in English on Wednesdays, well worth it.

Quite interesting and staff tried quite hard although museum small and the salt gathering building near Mairie is a separate tciket and visit and only open infrequently
