We went through this little glade/forest and stopped to take photos....why? Nothing spectacular and actually a waste of time. Been to many forests in New Zealand, Canada to name a couple and this was a few trees. Maybe I missed something?
Not a destination but a must see on a Bohol tour. Add this to a chocolate hills tour and see several things on the way there and back to Tagbilaran. Be sure to take your picture in the road as is traditionally done.
Sure, it's preferable to an expanse of concrete but this is a monoculture and hence far from my favourite type of greenery.

We went through the Mahogany Forest in way to Chocolate Hills. Our tour guide did not mention it. However I recognized by the pictures I've seen and the fact that the trees here are significantly taller than any other area in our Bohol tour.
