As it’s on the way to the chocolate hills it is a must see. The way the forest makes a tunnel over you is very impressive and quite pretty. If you are riding a motorbike through then be careful as there are lots of people...More

We rode through on our mopeds and the scenery was amazing, the trees overhang each other creating a long tunnel of trees. Something different and worth driving by!

The Bohol Forest is a man-made mahogany forest stretching in a two-kilometer stretch of densely planted Mahogany trees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. Before and after this man-made forest are the naturally grown forests of Loboc and Bilar which are thick...More

We drove through the Bilar Mahogany Man-made Forest on our way to Bohol's Chocolate Hills. One cannot believe this is a man-made forest. It's an area of almost 2kms planted densely with red- and white Mahogany trees. This project started in 1947 and it's amazing...More

Yes, you just need to take a stop at the roadside to enjoy the view. Take photos in the middle of the road (please be careful) and no one would believe it is actually a man-made forest (due to re-forestation efforts by the local government)....More

Being from the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest with trees all around and lots of forests only a stone's throw away, we were not impressed. We stopped long enough to buy some souvenirs.

I believe this is also known as the "Man made forest" locally. As you drive north east on the central island road, the canopy of the trees close over & you enter the forest. Some stopping areas on the side of the road, but beware...More
