The Best Diving in Panama. Coiba Dive Center is located in the heart of Santa Catalina, Panama, just a one-hour boat ride to world class diving. Coiba National Park has been described by many as the "New Galapagos" and the "New Cocos," Isla Coiba is by far the best diving Panama has to offer.

Our dive master for the trip appeared to be hungover; he was extremely lethargic, barely spoke to us, and spent most of the trip out and back asleep. When we actually did dive, he just rushed around the dive spots without taking any time to actually look at anything. If we didn't keep up with his rushed pace, we were... More

Coiba Island is such a hidden gem, and Coiba Dive Center will help you experience it in a way that no one else can. The diving is spectacular, the scenery is beautiful, and the people are the cherry on top. Keep in mind that the diving can be somewhat challenging with some current and you are in an extremely remote... More

Coiba Dive Center is a great outfit. Knowledgeable, friendly, good equipment and a conservationist approach to diving in this awesome place. I did a 3 day trip to Coiba with a total of 9 dives, and am torn between what I loved most: getting off the grid and staying on Coiba or the fantastic diving. Taking a multi day trip... More

Coiba was our dive destination driving this trip and we booked ahead somewhat blindly. We booked an extra one day dive as we drove down the road to Santa Catalina, not actually realizing that it would be the preview for the 3-day package we had already committed to. That was all great. Met up with Julie at the shop, went... More

I dived this week at the Coiba Dive Center with Cory. Very few rules of security are respected. The ascents are made without SMB and we dived at 34m, no matter the level of divers present. For my part it was only my 7th dive and it should have been limited to 20m as allowed by my French certification. And... More

Very disappointed in our trip with this outfit. We think the dive masters may have been there too long, and are thus a bit jaded. Did the absolute necessary chores, but two of them just laid down and took naps for the ride back! Having run trips ourselves in the past.in the Fl Keys, we know how to make a... More

We went diving with Jose. He was very prepared and knows the Coiba waters in and out. It was a small group and everything went as planned. We saw sharks, turtles and lots of dolphins. We loved our trip to Coiba.
