Goa is known for the beaches but something unique like the Naval Museum is a must see for everyone. It is very near to Dabolim airport. You can see a lot of Naval aircrafts used in the past. Also, there is a museum depicting the history of Indian Navy with a lot of old photographs of the operations in which... More

Many martial and sea-faring old artefacts in one place. Good for a couple of hours of break from crowds and sand.

A great Naval museum describing various historical evidences and walkthrough India's history. The kids are sure to be amazed with the likes of fighter jets and helicopters placed to showcase India's military prowess.

It's in Vasco, opened between 10am and 5pm. However, its closed for maintenance work without notice. Better call and find out before visiting. Actual army flights and fighter jets in various sizes have been kept in this museum. Surely, young children and kids would love this place.

This is off the beaten track. Is not in the tourism circuit. Only minutes from airport. Excellent collection of fixed wing n rotary aircraft of by gone era. Two storied museum gives the history of India s maritime aviation. Also big plus is artefacts from now decommissioned citations.can buy souvenir also. Fees nominal.

There were anti sub-marine crafts as well, Entry fee is nominal.... More

Artifact collection is good. Needs some overhaul as in current shape, its just a museum which in today's world doesn't interest much especially the next gen. To make the visit interesting need some videos/short movies that can make things more realistic for people to experience. Some (toned down)simulators that can help people experience flying experience and visits to cockpit of... More
