Lovely beach, although a little tricky to navigate the rocky patch just before you get onto the beach. Water very clear, and views across to New Quay were beautiful. Parking was crowded, but we did go on a very sunny day, so was to be expected.

Well what can we say that gives credit to this wonderful site with the most helpful and friendliest owners we have ever experienced.
Facilities were spotless and our pitch was excellentF2. With 5 minutes walk to the beach and half hour walk to the beautiful New Quay (tide permitting) simply lovely.
Even had a small tear when we left!

A short but beautiful walk through the woods by a stream . Then over some steps onto a large pebble beach which turns into sand . Spent a few hours here with my elderly mum and 2 dogs. Not too busy but plenty of people about. Can walk along the beach to Newquay.

We enjoyed a walk along this beach and back, it was calm and relaxing. We saw a couple of dog walkers and one family during our time there.
The beach is Sandy so would be nice in warmer weather for kids to play.

There's a walk through the caravan park or you can get there down the road and you can pass Dylan Thomas's old house. Be aware that the tide comes in all the way up the beach to leave just a pebble beach. Great place to watch the sunset over New Quay harbour.
If you're lucky you may see dolphins.
If you're staying on Quay West holiday park, then there's really good access to the beach via steps, so not suitable for someone with walking issues.

Beautiful clean, quiet beach, except for dog litter, difficult to get to, no directional information.

The beach is vast when you can get to it, other than a lengthy walk from New Quay, tide permitting. Sandy and quiet and clean, providing dog owners are considerate. And there are some rocks to clamber on too. You can park at the end of the lane opposite the Cambrian Hotel but directions are vague. The beach is so much quieter, cleaner and larger than New Quay. We will be returning.

We have just bought paddle boards and took them to New Quay whilst on holiday as the location seemed perfect. The beach and shallow areas were quite busy so we paddled over to the amazingly picturesque Cei Beach which was practically empty and we could easily practice in the waters whilst taking in such beautiful scenery.
We were lucky with the weather but so glad we managed to explore and find such an amazing beach.

We spent a while day here with our 8 and 6 year olds. The beach is vast, Sandy and quiet. Plus some rocks to clamber on too.
We parked towards the bottom of the lane (on road and free), then it’s a couple of 100 meters down a wooded path to the beach. You pass a small public toilet on the way.
No shops etc but we took a picnic.

Wow, fabulous dog friendly beach and quite honestly stunning. We took our dog Tilly every day whilst we stayed in New Quay. Loved the easy clamber over the rocks back to New Quay , (check tides for this ). Highly recommend.

Walked on beach, beautiful beach but saw a dog bite two different sets of people, one a toddler and it was going for her face , it was being walked by a young kid with no control. Saw someone dog fouling and owner didn’t pick it up and then saw 3 German Shepard’s all of the lead . In the space of one walk down the beach.
