What a great walk. Around the buttons just beautiful. All the way to westward ho. Don’t forget always take a bag and do a beach clean whilst walking that way u do the beach a favour in return for its wonderful views

Wonderful walks to be had over the burrows, even in the wind and rain, if you are dressed for it. Horses and sheep roam freely, the sea comes right up to the edge of the burrows. Good for bird watching, I saw oyster catcher, and...More

A sunny day, horses grazing, amazing views and lots of families out enjoying the fresh air and open spaces. All added up to a lovely gentle walk around North Burrows.

Beautiful views towards Westward Ho! and Staunton. It takes at least 1 1/2 hrs to walk from Appledore to Westward Ho!

Good flat walking, sensible shoes with astounding sea views over the Torridge Estuary and the pebble ridge. Dogs must be on leads, sheep and ponies freely grazing.

We parked at Churchfields car park, and after a coffee and enjoying the view from the Royal George we strolled for two miles along the coast as far as Grey Sand Hill. The path is not steep, and there are great views along the way....More

as i have said there is plenty of parking along the quay on both sides there is acar park by the bus terminus or there should be where you are staying hpoe this helps have a good holiday ann m
