Though this magnificent Hall of Mirrors was under restoration when we visited in December, it still topped my list of the best that Amber Fort has to offer. The hall has been decorated with thousands of mirror tiles as well as colored glass -- some forming flower designs -- on the walls and ceiling. A single ray of light can... More

Wow... Is an understatement ... Photos really cannot do it justice. The detail, intricacy and skill of the mirrors - just cannot be portrayed in a photo or picture. It was a shame when we visited that restoration work was taking place and we couldn't take the pleasure of seeing the full hall - but what we did see was... More

Cool to see and easy if you are visiting Amber Fort anyway. Just inside the entrance to Amber Fort, the craftsmanship is special and they continue to improve/ renovate it, which is lovely to watch.

Exploring this masterpiece of architecture during your visit at Amber Fort, best with a guide to understand the story behind.

One of the great location inside Amer fort. Guides will tell you about a good historical background about the stories of queens and kings.

The mirrors are surprisingly well preserved. Some had painted flowers along the borders. I imagined how the rooms must have sparkled under sunlight and also candlelight. Mirrors were supposedly from Belgium.

Extremely beautiful place. Full of mirrors and you'll enjoy only if you have a guided tour. The tour guides are available outside the amber fort. Only when you understand the history you enjoy the place more. We were awestruck by the kind of work that was done centuries back. The thought process behind making this place made it even more... This is a small room in Amber Fort where the ceiling is covered with tiny mirrors giving one the impression of thousands of twinkling stars. A dance of love for the majarajah was performed here.
