Langkawi Scuba is a PADI certified divecenter in Langkawi. We take you scuba diving at the beautiful dive sites of the 99 islands of Langkawi. Try diving for the first time during a 3 hour Discover Scuba Diving experience or get your PADI certification with Langkawi Scuba. And if you are already certified we can take you on a 2-dive trip to look for nudis, seahorse, frogfish, lionfish and amazing colorful softcorals. Taking our small private boat directly from Cenang Beach, you will be diving with maximum 2 people per professional PADI instructor. High season october till May. Closed for monsoon (bad visibility) june-september

Awesome experience!

Langkawi Scuba is an excellent dive centre that focuses a lot on a safe and enjoyable experience. Warda's experience in both diving and scouting the marine life in Langkawi allowed us to see many different animals, some we would have easily missed if she had not pointed them out. She also emphasises a lot on safety, hence the 2:1 ratio and buddy-lines when we dive. There is no need to fear even if you have no diving experience, or to be nervous when diving. Warda is experienced and provides a safe environment to gain confidence over the dives.

Visibility in Langkawi is not superior, but it is decent enough for you to come up close and personal with the marine life. We were lucky to have better visibility (4-5m) on the day we dive, but this would vary.

As a whole, we truly enjoyed our dive and we will be back!

2 great days of diving, thank you!

Really enjoyed 2 days of diving with Langkawi Scuba and diving with Warda. Although the visibility is known to be low in Langkawi we were lucky with 5-7 metres, though sometimes it was 2 metres or so with algae bloom. Saw lots of great wildlife including sea horses, lots of different nudibranches, pufferfish, lionfish, stingray, scorpionfish, moray eel, crabs, shrimps, lobster, lots of schooling fish, different corals and even saw Indian Ocean humpback dolphins on the surface interval. Warda has an amazing eye and spotted a lot for us. Felt very safe, excellent briefing and instruction and great tips to incrementally refine my diving. Was also impressed Langkawi Scuba was one of the pioneers of diving finding and naming a number of the dive sights in Langkawi so you’re in good hands with them being extremely knowledgeable about the area. I would dive with this Langkawi Scuba again. I would also imagine this is a great company to do open water and other certifications with as they definitely know their stuff in detail and take the time to explain, I can see they care about their teaching and sharing their knowledge with divers. Thank you for an excellent 2 days! 😊

An amazing experience, highly recommended

My daughter and I did the discovery scuba diving dive with Langkawi Scuba and had an amazing experience. We were both novices and a little nervous but had no need to worry because we were in the very safe and professional hands of our instructor, Warda. She was very calm and patient throughout, went through all the safety procedures clearly and concisely so that we were soon in the water trying out the equipment before our first dive. The water isn't very clear, which we knew about beforehand, but we still saw an abundant amount of sea life including reef crabs, seahorses, false clown fish and many more in their natural habitats. Warda was very knowledgeable, knew the best places to dive and pointed out many sea creatures while keeping us both comfortable and safe. All in all an incredible morning and one we will never forget. Thank you Langkawi Scuba!

Unique Diving Experience

The dive sites around the Langkawi islands are known to have limited visibility, as stated in their web site up front so that divers can have the proper expectation prior to signing up. I was hesitated whether it is worth diving here. It turned out a memorable, fun, and unique diving experience. Although indeed the visibility was not great, 3m to 4m, there are many types of fishes that we saw, and also saw unique corals. What stands out is our dive master Warda who shares her love of the ocean and marine iives here with her guests. Not only she is patient and professional, she also took great effort to make sure all divers feel safe and as comfortable as possible, and explained how to dive properly in limited visibility situation. She would point out all of the tiny sea lives to us otherwise we could not have spotted them ourselves. All dive sites are very close to the Cenang beach and the surrounding small islands are beautiful. It is a small boat so it can take small group of divers only. I didn't feel the trip was too crowded busy with too many divers, but very relaxing and enjoyable to be able to chat with the dive masters and the other divers. If you are certified diver and have not tried diving in limited visibility dive sites, you should experience this unique experience here.

Safe, fun and professional

Very recommendable! Compliments to Dorianne who guided us and was very professional. They also know how to have fun, take care of the environment and of each other. You have to be lucky with the visibility, but our third and fourth dive were amazing and we saw a lot.
As an inexperienced diver it's important for me that someone looks after me a bit, in case I do something wrong. They did that in a good manner and thank you for that.
Also a compliment to the other instructors, who made us feel very welcome.

Fantastic dive shop!

Fantastic shop run professionally and safely. I did four fun dives over two days and had a blast. It never feels like there are too many divers to instructors, and all instructors take care to make sure things are done professionally and safely. Visibility on langkawi isn’t as good as it might be in other places, but that means the things you see are much more rewarding.

Friendly team for first time diver

Did my 3 day PADI license training with Langkawi Scuba with Dorianne as my instructor. She was very friendly, encouraging and patient! My wife also had a bit of refresher after getting her PADI several years ago. All the team were friendly too and we very much enjoyed our dives. Can recommend for first time divers or if its been a while.

What a great place. Warda and her husband are serious about diving, safety first.
We have are PADI and did a refreshment course and 3 dives.
Instructors are patient and fun to dive with.

Friendly and capable diving instructors

We did a refresher and 2 dives with Langkawi Scuba and had a great time. The owners and staff are very friendly and capable instructors. Visibility is low in Langkawi but we got to see so much while diving thanks to them!
