Only 3km away from the centre of Zabljak, Malo (Small) and Veliko (Big) Lakes merge into Crno (Black) Lake. This lake is specific for its dark blue shade of water, which often seems black, and the effect is created by the Lake's depth and the dense Durmitor pine forest surrounding it.

This is otherwise known as Black Lake. It is a very pretty lake, around which is a 3+ kilometer, or more, hiking path. The hike is fairly flat and provides superb views of the Durmitor Mountains.

We came here in October, which is "off season" and managed a few hours in good weather - certainly was a nice view and plan for a nice walk. There are acyually 2 lakes that sometimes are joined together- worth see both!

A very nice walking area with several trails. We were going to hike on Bobotov but the it started to rain so we went down and did only a big circle arround the lakes. And we were totally wet after that.

As with any lake be ready for a long walk. We went for the day and walked all the way around the lake in about 4 hours. Very picturesque lake and surroundings.
