Stunning views of the surounding hills and valleys to be had if you get here early morning in good weather. Plenty of cardio vascular effort needed to get up here though

There's obviously some thought gone in to the war memorial at Montgomery. Although it records the names of the fallen, the design is superb, and the setting quite wonderful, a real tribute.

You will need hiking boots at this time of year as the track to it is very muddy and steep in places but the effort is well worth it on a clear day. Superb views all round, take binoculars to enjoy even more.
