Braxton Gardens is one of our favourite tea or light lunch places in Milford and its just up the road. Sarah and Simon do delicious light lunches and cracking cakes and scones. Saran would win bake off hands down at any time and Simon is...More

I was visiting the area, saw the sign and, as I love open garden, thought I'd take a peek. What a disappointment! The garden was unloved, unkempt, overgrown and weedy. Just awful. I can't comment on the tea room which looked perfectly pleasant, as I...More

As a garden it's not as you would expect i.e. Small and not well maintained. However as a place for a light lunch or tea and cakes it is really excellent. Good choices of items which are slightly different than the usual. Staff are helpful...More

We come here at least once a week for their lovely scones. Note the previous reviews and feel some are rather unfair. It's a big garden, which is fairly well tended but not a show piece. They are clear that they don't want children to...More

Walked here from our place in Milford and enjoyed the speciality muffins and a decent cup of tea. Staff very friendly and efficient as it got quite busy.

We love Braxton Gardens. A group of us who work locally quite often visit in our lunch hour so I decided to take my elderly mother there for a cream tea. It was, as always, more than she could eat but we both enjoyed it...More

Aside the quality of the cakes and tea being average at best, the service and attitude of the proprietor was very disappointing. Clearly this is not a place which welcomes children, despite providing a rather tired doll's house. There are plenty of better options available...More
