Bagni Varigotti is a quiet and serene pebble beach filled with families. It's easily accessible by train and bus, and has many quaint shops and restaurants on the Main Street. The water is clear and lovely for a swim with younger children, it's also deep enough to go far out comfortably with very gentle currents. The pebbles can be a... More

This is my favourite place on the riviera. You have one of the best beaches, combined with mountains and very very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. So, don't go there , as it is secret place ;). We took a bag of magic looking stones from the beach they were looking too impossible. The water is crystal clear.

Most websites state that the main beach is sand - this is certainly not true. It is a pebble beach with large rocks making up the sea bed. The sea is quite rough at times and you do need to be a good swimmer to really enjoy the beach. Saying that it is a beautiful spot for sunbaking and people... More

One of the most special places in Liguria. You have a small village with a special flavor. Self-sustained as you can buy grocery, get your foccascia, stay on the beach, go to few good restaurants and do you beach or walking experience.

Varigotti is beautiful. It looks like the elegant sibling of Loano (don't go to Loano if you have a choice!) which is only 20 minutes away by car. The only downside of traveling solo here is they charge you almost the same price for a deck chair and an umbrella instead of charging you only 50% while the place is... More

One of the best places on the Ligurian seaside. The sand is from tiny stones and the yellow seaside buildings are makes you feel you are in fairytale.

A beautiful beach vith the coloured old village at the back. Unlike the rest of Liguria, there is enough space for the free beach

This beach is excellent with lots of public and private parts. Wide variety of bars to eat in - they speak English and the food is great and not expensive in the ones we tried. The waves are great if there is any wind. BUT this beach is NOT sandy - for information to the person below who reviewed this... More

We lived here an year back. The beach and the drive through Via Aurelia is a felling that words can never express. You have the Mediterranean Sea on one side and you drive by it on the cliffy mountains on a straight road created during Roman time, named under queen Aurelia, goes on till Rome.... Bella Vista

Get there early as parking is difficult (or park in Finale and take the bus). There is no point to pay high rates for private beaches. This municipal beach is beautiful, has a nice atmosphere and an okay bar/snack bar. The 5 EUR entrance fee is well worth it. The showers and toilets are quite sufficient.
