We invite you to visit our historic winery, located on the outskirts of the hamlet Chacras de Coria in Lujan de Cuyo. At Alta Vista, you'll find a delicate blend of tradition and technology that reflects itself in our wines. Take a walk around our excellently restored facility built over a century ago, and learn about the wine making process from grape bunch to bottle. We are open every day of the week from 9:30-6:00. Contact us by email or by telephone to schedule a tour.

Like other reviewers, we believed we had a booking for a tour, however when we arrived we were told the tour was in progress and we were too late, though we were there at the time our hotel scheduled. Still, we had a pleasant lunch in the garden and got to try several wines with our lunch. It was very... More

This was our second stop in our 3 winery day tour. The place has an interesting story, and the building still keeps some of its original architectural designs. The tour guide was very friendly and kind, I really liked the explanations. As usual in this kinds of visits, you can end it with a wine tasting experience and you can... More

The tour is comprehensive and the guide was very knowledgable and helpful. The gardens are superb and very Mediterranean with lawns and olive groves as wel as oak and palm trees. Green parakeets fly above this peaceful place. The picnic lunch was very good, and three glasses of excellent wine.

We spent a lazy afternoon here in the lovely gardens having a picnic lunch box and sampling wine. Generous glasses and tasty food. A very pleasant way to spend a few hours. Torrontes was the stand out.

We went to AV for a tasting and lunch and it was very good. It was a boxed lunch since we wanted to sit in the sun since it was a beautiful day. The food was good and the staff Paula and Belen were delightful. After lunch we went on a tour and the guide was very well informed and... More

The property is beautiful, and we received the warmest welcome. We tasted probably 10 wines in total, and really enjoyed the different selections. Our favourite was the 2010 Alto though. It was velvety, smooth perfection in a glass!!! Our guide explained about the different soils associated with the different wines and their impact on the flavor. I highly recommend stopping... More

Our pre-booked lunch at this winery was a picnic in the garden in front of the older office buildings and really was a lovely thing to do. Ample sized pre-determined small sandwiches and salad, followed by a dessert box of chocolates, macaroons and sorbet topped pastry. Perfect for a light lunch and three wines offered with it... the tour itself... More

Lovely little spot with a great view of the mountains. Our hotel messed up and sent us here even after they'd been told they couldn't fit us in till 4pm, we arrived midday. The lady at the desk was extremely accommodating given the circumstances and made us feel welcomed and managed to squeeze us in for the picnic lunch and... More

Nice property, but unprofessional visitor management. We did a bike tour around the wineries of Mendoza. After a very nice experience at Nieto Senetiner (free outdoor wine tasting without any pressure to buy; they even offered us more wines to try than we had time to drink), we arrived at Alta Vista. The guard was very friendly, but could not... More
