this is just parafrasing an old pub slogan from Avis rent a Car. This private park, the dream and creation from ONE man, and backed by some wealthy contacts, has become a mighty challenge of the famous Antwerp ZOO. I am from Antwerp myself, so I should be biased. But no, I visited Pairi Daiza and it is utterly charming,... More

I wanted to visit this particular zoo because of the giant pandas and especially because they told me it is possible to see a baby panda (I wrote an e-mail to the zoo before the visit). However, I was very disappointed. There was a really bad organization regarding the visit of pandas – very long queue before even coming to... More

It's the best zoo imaginable. Period. It's a beautiful park, has a huge playground for our children, the staff is always friendly, etc. When you visit something like the Antwerp Zoo afterwards, with its small old-fashioned cages, you feel sorry for humanity.

When I visit a zoo, I am really demanding. I expect that the animals look free, look as they were in their true environment. I loathe when they are kept in small cages, staring at us as if they asked us to release them... So I was really glad when I visited Pairi Daiza ! The animals have space, they... More

The most beautiful zoo I've ever seen!! It's big, well organized in continents (with its original architectures) and themes. Childrens would love this place, not only for the playground, they also can study cross culture here. Their animal "collection" are amazing, and well taken care off. The location is almost in the middle of nowhere (away from the crowd), but... More

Very big park organized in continents and themes. Animals seem well taken care off. Décors are very well done. There are playgrounds for the kids. Lots of restaurants and snacks. Lots of toilets so you don't have to run around to find one for your kid. There is a farm where kids can pet goats. There is an aquarium. Only... More

Nous y étions l'été dernier avec la famille. Le parc et grand et beau. Il y a beaucoup d'animaux. Bons restaurants intérieur et le prix justifiés. Il est possible de toucher certains animaux. We've been here late summer with family. It was a huge park & you're allowed to feed & touch the selected animals. A lot of walks but... More

The only let down was that we went on a quiet day so the multiple restaurants on park were closed. Apart from that I could not find a single fault. The zoo is more like a nature reserve it's absolutely beautiful. We primarily went to visit the pandas as they recently had a baby and managed to view them 3... More

Second visit to Pairi Daiza. First time was when it was still a small park called Paradiso. Since last time a lot has changed! But in a good way! This is an extremely beautifull animal park. It is not a zoo! Animals have lot's of outdoor space! The park is divided in several themed areas: Africa, China, Asia, The Cold... More

This is a fantastic zoo. Well designed beautiful areas, so you know where to find the animals. For example rhino and elephants are in the African part; pandas in the Chinese etc. The buildings are beautiful. I loved every minute and it made such a difference to the usual animal parks/zoos we go. Plenty of places to eat. I went... More
