Highly recommend a visit, bring the guidebook for details or use the signs at sites to give you an overview. Interesting history and some excellent views.

Interesting. Not much there. Worth a peek. Some of the old cuttings into the rock where they pulled out the silver are interesting. It must have been a dangerous job.

We used to take the dogs up this trail when we were kids. This trail always fascinated me because of the buildings you see around! This is a relatively flat trail, if I remember correctly.

The Cobalt Heritage Silver Trail is has about 15 stops on it. All the points on the trail stop at old ruins and mining operation sites in the Cobalt area. The tour is self guided and you do need a car and about 1-2 hours...More

We parked down by the beautiful Ontario Northland Railway Station undergoing restoration, walked across the tracks to a path between the rails and the lake and walked towards rusting mine buildings at Kerr Lake Road, then across the bridge on the tracks and back downtown....More
