If you enjoy peonies, direct your GPS towards Hase Peony Garden in mid-May for a beautiful display of thousands of blossoms of many different colors: yellow, pink, purple, purple-brown, red, etc. The wisteria trellis and azaleas are nice too. The terraced hillside setting is lovely. The display is well worth the ¥500 price of admission.
