Whale sharks!!!! Then there is much more, but then I felt sorry for the other creatures in the smaller tanks. This place is very educational, and can get overcrowded during the high season.

I would think a taxi is the best way. We visited friends while in Okinawa so we had access to their cars.

the earliest you can go to the aquarium is at 8.30 according to the website. if you're only going to the aquarium, then spending 1-2 hours should be enough. You'll need more time to explore the whole expo tho, I'd say 4-5... More
