Amazing. Gorgeous. Inspiring. Off the beaten path and worth every second. We spent 2 days here and were blown away. The views of Mt. Fuji just added to the experience.

286 stepps is not easy for babies or old ppl. But the place is awesome. Car Parking is 2km away from the temple during the cherry-blossom season. You can take bus from park lot.

its a nice temple,there is a really steep set of stairs to climb up if you're brave enough(or can walk up one of the winding paths to the side),gets the heart going,also a nice trek(or cable car ride) to the top.lots of information in english...More
