While historically significant...as it claims to be Japan's first Buddhist temple....but other than the bronze Buddha housed inside, just an ordinary temple

It was a hot day when we visited where many young girls gathered and heared from the temple chap.he explained how old the statue was which retrospect over 1400 years ago.the garden was small,surrounded by rice paddies.asuka is nicer than kyoto.
