this is our second attempt at viewing unkai - woke up really early in the freezing weather (even though its only november!) but unfortunately, the conditions were not right for an unkai to take place. we did get rewarded with a good view and sunrise!...More

Kunimigaoka is a very nice stop on the way to the Takachiho Gorge specially in the morning if it is not to cloudy so there is a very nice scenic view with some small clouds habging around the higher mountains.

It's 10 minutes drive uphill from Takachi gorge. The spot is at the peak of the mountain hence offer scenic view.

Not much to see when we went up there at around 6pm, no clouds anyway. It did say the clouds usually occur around September to November though so we were there at the wrong time
