Seibu trail is not famous as Jomonsugi or Shiratani Unsuikyo in Yakushima, but it is good choice for one day trekking. Very nice green, lovely deers. I enjoyed the nature, I had lunch and a rest beside a little river. So peaceful! I would like recommend a tour of YNAC

Driving through the Seibu Trail was a good activity (break) the day after a long walk to Jomonsugi. You will meet a plenty of monkeys, who are not afraid of cars and people, and deers, who run away as soon as they see you. It is a windy, narrow road so watch out!

Unbelievably gorgeous--a magical forest with tame deer and fuzzy monkeys. Easy hike at the beginning, really rugged at the top, but worth the panoramic view from the summit.
