Beautiful gardens especially the rose garden. Swings for the kids and a lake with ducks and chidren were so happy. Nice to walk around and have a picnic. Nice venue for weddings. There also a public pool next to it.

A fantastic park - beautiful gardens, playground caters for kids and toddlers, and the duck pond is a hit too. Gas bbq available if you want to make a day of it.

Great park for kids. My boy loves going there to feed the ducks and play. If you stoping in hawera that's the place for kids or all age I say. Free bbq available here.

What a quality asset this is to the town.Particularly enchanting in the early morning-especially when Mt Taranaki pushes through the clouds!

A beautiful park with lots of space for everyone. Perfect for children to play (great playground) and plenty of room to kick a ball around as well. Lovely seats for the elderly to sit and relax and look at the gorgeous gardens. Great for couples...More

Very lovely park, good playground, ample green space and gardens to enjoy and wander. Big park, well groomed lots of fun things for kids to find and explore. Enjoy at leisure.

Beautiful park kids are loving the changes been made ton playground only let down is the sheer amount of prickles in the lawn! We visited quickly other days with 2 barefoot toddlers and had to leave as they couldn't walk anywhere

These gardens are well groomed and set out. A lovely leisurely stroll around them is perfect way to finish the day taking in the sights, smells and tranquility of the gardens. A must visit place when in Hawera
