Very dissapointed. Crab sandwiches dry and tasted of fish paste and wrapped in cardboard like supermarkets bought ones bit with a huge mark up. Chips raw and tasteless.

Visited late afternoon in the sunshine. Clean and tidy with lots of activity on and off the water. Boats coming in and out and a larger than expected ferry boat, if we had more time we would have taken a trip, never mind next time! Sat outside in the sunshine for a drink which was very pleasant, starlings very tame... More

As part of a family weekend getaway we visited the quay as it was just a short walk from our accommodation. It is a beautiful location and great for strolling along hand in hand with a loved one just don't go with teenagers! Aside from the pub there is nothing for them to do and they will quickly get bored.... More

Would go again to this very clean and tidy beach. Lovely surrounding walks and one along the shore. Plenty of toilets, café, shops and a restaurant. Can't really fault this place. You can even catch a small ferry that just goes across to hills head or visit Highcliff Castle just a little further down. Lots of people crabbing and fishing... More

We visit Mudeford Quay throughout the year as, it's nice for a walk and to watch the people doing the crab fishing. For those with young children keep them away from the edge and the current is so strong down there be warned.

Well kept and clean, the harbour looks east to the Needles, west to Christchurch, the beach huts are colourful and well maintained. A lovely touch of old-fashioned sea side.

Visited the quay late afternoon. It was still quite busy. There were plenty of parking spaces. We bought crabbing gear and proceeded to give it a try. The current was strong and the net we bought would to sink fast enough. The kids got some small rock to weigh the net down. After several attempts but still no crab, the... More
