The last glass factory I visited was Waterford in Ireland so I had high expectations. We were a bit disappointed and I think the owners can make the glass blowing area more interesting. BUT, the glass maze was really interesting and FUN! Don't miss it! The Glasi shop had a good selection of products made in the factory. Worth a... More

A wonderful half day to spend with the family. The museum is very well laid out and informative. The factory is fascinating with the chance to do some glass blowing. With ample places to eat, a good play park for smaller children and an amazing lakeside location, this is a wonderful trip for the whole family!

The beginning is a museum like area with displays on glass making. You then see the masters make amazing glassware. Next you go to a kids play/experience area that has items for all ages. Finally go shop for glass art.

One of the hidden jam of so called lake Lucerne. The factory is all about glass and its development. First, we took a self guided tour about the factory's history, than, entered the area of glass production. It is possible to blow your own glass, there is a separate line for it. Same floor they have a glass museum with... More

Everything is very well organized, very well done, very professional. Except, when we went to buy tickets, although my husband spoke to the cashier in German, she held a conversation with me in French. My conversational French is acceptable, nothing more, but I am American and I have an American mouth and American sounds come out of it, my accent... More

One can see the process of making glass plates, vases and decorative figures. The museum part is a bit old-fashioned (80s style). Playable musical instruments made of glass is a nice kid's attraction. Overall, a very good experience.

If you have a small child, the museum part may not be fun for you. The multimedia tour was enlightening for adults but may not be so for small children or people who have claustrophobia. Our daughter (at 5) started to cry in a short time. Museum was a labyrinth shaped which has different dark and small rooms with many... More

There is a museum where you can learn a lot about how they work and make glas. There is also a shop with many things you can buy. If you want to find something for a good price go to the shop over the street!
