A beautiful site with lots of history, really enjoyable few hours out, interesting to walk around the castle & beautiful views over Framingham. A must see.

Decided to visit to see first hand 'The Castle on the Hill'. Joined English Heritage whilst there. Enjoyed exploring the castle. Good information boards. Lovely areas for children to let of steam and act out they sieges of the Castle. Very well preserved.

Visited over Easter. Called there late in the day with it raining heavy. Walked around the perimeter wall with our brollies. There had been an event with side shows with people all dressed up. We were there it a bit late to enjoy.

A good place to visit, and had the weather been better we would have spent more time walking around and enjoying the picturesque mere. The history of the place is varied and well explained and the cafe is nice with plenty of seating.
