The tallest mountain in Bulgaria offers a little bit for every type of tourist you can take the easy routes, or hike for days. It's always refreshing and energizing and a must visit on a trip to Bulgaria.

It was the best part of our week-long trip to Bulgaria. No matter your hiking experience is, a hike up to the Rila National Park is a must. We had our 15-month old with us and I must say it was safe, scenic and exciting!...More

based on the numerous recommendations of the beauty of the landscape, We wanted to go hiking today. Drove one and a half hours to the gondola lift, just to find out that it is closed, and only open in the winter for skiing. Disappointing 😕

Bulgaria is famous with its nature. Rila National Park confirms that sentence. I have been several times hiking there and every route is breathtaking. One must spend as much time as they can in nature.
