We visited the mangrove forest with hopes of something special but was very dissapointed at what we found, you have to pay to access the road to mangrove forest for its upkeep for which by the condition of the access road and beach area the money collected has been used for other things, the whole area has a dirty feel... Lovely little lady punted me round the mangrove forest. It was a lovely thing to see. 50k for 30 minutes but a big portion of the island is the mangrove forest so it's a must see in Nusa. It's very beautiful and eerie at the same time.

Nice easy kayak. Paid 5000 entry each and 100k for a double for 1 hour. Saw a couple of lizards swimming. Was pleasant. An hour is plenty.

Worth a visit, and it's gonna cost you around 150k ($10) each boat. basically it is not boat, it's a medium size canoe. no engine boat, so the man pushes the boat using a bamboo. the place is calm, beautiful scenery around this area. it is covered by the tree leaves, so you don't get direct sun. the water is... You get into a small riverboat with a guy who will paddle you through the narrow forest. Not a whole lot to see, but still a nice trip worth taking.

peaceful and tranquil. if you are lucky, you might even get to see a monitor lizard. you can choose to kayak, take the sampan, or the motorized small boats.

Firstly they gonna offer you what vehicle you wanna use. Kayak(you row yourself), boat (somebody rows for you) or duck boat. I chose kayak which is real fun. Experience real mangrove forest though a bit scary cos you gotta see roots of the forest on your left and right and so quite. Yet Worth trying!

20-30 minutes on a large canoe. Make sure you only pay $10 aud for 2 people. Some trying to charge $10 each. Definately worth a quick visit

I visited with 2 friends last week, definitely worth the trip. We walked to the entrance of the forest where you pay a small entrance fee, maybe 5k IDR, to get in which goes to the care of the forest. The men on the gate offered to give us a ride on the back of their scooters to the actual... More
