Cannot fail to enjoy walk, park, playground and woods. We always go and see the horses too with our 3 year old and local fun beauty spot to visit. Highly recommend the Woodland centre too. Always lots on a gift shop lovely. Cafe excellent. Friendly...More

I cycle through this would reguarly amd enjoy the grounds with the golf course running through it, some nice easy trails to get warmed up for a more adventerous ride around the other local woods.

A very nice place for a walk on a bright sunny day. Plenty of trees and wild life to look at. some days you can walk for miles before seeing anyone so crowds not a problem.

It is open all year round - the woods and reserve that is. The visitors centre is run by Essex Wildlife so usual opening hours but check their website for specicific times.

Didn't see any last time there but its so big I possibly missed them Try Jubilee park at Rochford or Gusted Hall woods
