Gengabach is a beautiful place to visit - peaceful and picturesque, with very interesting architecture. Lots of pretty houses and lovely cafes. Certainly one of the highlights of our visit to the Black Forest region of Germany.

Interesting walk through the narrow cibbled streets. Many small bars and restaurants. Quaint olde style houses all over. Do walk through the old gates either side. Saturday morning market in town square a must

Nice little town, parking is possible along the river. There's a train stop right in front of the city center. With a Konus or Schwartzwaldkarte you can travel for free that way. Parking is quite expensive. The city itself is very nice, with a few...More
