Extremely raw beauty. The resort that houses it is average and adequate but entrance is only 75p so see these giant coral formations being beaten down by waves. Don't swim since the current is strong except the first meter or so. Anyway don't try it...More

Place is very picturesque and you can go into shallow water and feel a little danger while the waves crash the big rock formations nearby. Guess Bolinao used to be underwater because the entire coastline is coral formations including parts of Patar.

Waves crashing by the shore as you lay on a hammock and the lullabies of waves provides a great backdrop for taking a nap at one of the kubos. Great place for taking photographs.

I was disappointed when I went to Patar rock formation. I squandered P75 entrance fee. Nothing really special with the rock formation. Unlike the “Kapupurawan” rock formation in Ilocos. You can skip this one. No wonder we (tour guide and myself) were the only one...More
