Travelled from Yanji along the Tumen River to the township of Tumen. Here you can look into the DPRK town of Namyang. There are two bridges, one for rail. This is one of the more touristy things to do in this nice, small Chinese city. This is one of the few crossings into North Korea from China and you can go out on it to the little line on the bridge. Yon can ride a high-speed train (Hexiehao) and then a taxi to get there from Yanji. you can see the northen part of North Korea (Namyang City). Two hour trip by auto from Yanji. The scenery of the country side was beautiful and the people were friendly, but curious. We continued north until we reached the Russia/China/North Korean Borders. That was worth the trip.

Nice city about 40 KLM from Yangi. From the bus station get local bus or Taxi to the Tumen River. Across the river is North Korea. excactly tumen is a really small country,just like any small twon near the border.there is a long bridge between china and north korea,so you just cant go to the other side.for me , i like the peace of tumen,you cant charge more from an original place
